Old Computers

Author's note: My group decided to write about computers and I did not know what to write so if you have any tips leave a comment.     

If you look at the computers when they first discovered, they look a lot different from now. The first one that was first made was huge it was a whole room, but the ones that we have now they are very small compared to the old ones. Even though about everything has improved or changed since the original product was made. Although the computer might have been the biggest change since the size, and even the material of how it works.

My Bad

Authors note: I could not remember any good vacations that I had so I decided to make one that was not real. Comment please.

“Alright we have 15 minutes, till we leave,” said my mom while she was shutting her suitcase, even though it wouldn’t shut. I walked away to make sure that I had everything. I zipped my up right away, and it was over flowing, a lot but it wasn’t even close to my moms. I returned to my kitchen where my mom was, her suit case was so big it looked like it was going to burst out and make everything fly everywhere. The taxi should be here but it isn’t then we looked at the clock and it was only 2:00 A.M. that meant that we had 2 more hours we were all tired and cranky.

Goal

Authors note: We wanted to write about sports, and I wasn't sure what to write about so give me feed back.

“You can shoot when I blow my whistle.” Said the referee as I set the soccer ball on the dot. I could see that my teammates wanted me to score. This was for all the marbles, if I make it we won the nationals and get 1^st place. As he blows the whistle I started to approach the ball. My heart was racing, and I feel people staring at me. Finally I was starting to get to the ball and I kicked as hard as I could. Next thing I knew the goalie dived to the right, even though I shot the ball on the left. It hit the back of the net and I turned around at started to run back words to my teammates. They all started to jump up in the air because they were so excited. That was probably the best time in my life.

Snow Storm

Author's note: In my writing circle we were thinking about the snow, and then we thought how we wanted it to come sooner. 




“Creek creek,” goes the stairs as I walk down them. While I was just woke up, I look outside and there is was so much snow on the ground it was as tall as the Eiffel tower! Even the snowflakes were going down, really fast.  I thought I should start getting ready for school because I don’t want to be late. When I walk in my kitchen, my sister and my mom were starring at the TV. I was confused for awhile, so then I asked why you are starring at the TV. Right away my sister answered me, and said we have no school! I was so excited, I wanted to go sledding right away so then I got ready and then me and my sister went, on the hill right next to our house. It was so amusing, I wish we could, we would get another one sometime soon! 

Christmas Cookies

Authors note: I wrote this for my writing circle, and I did not think it was that good so comment for some tips.    

 It is the night of Christmas and we are ready to make some cookies for Santa. We are making my favorite kind, sugar cookies with green frosting and sprinkles. My sister and I are really good at cooking so these will be good. We started to make the batter and we preheated the oven. By the time I started to beat it, it looked really well. The oven beeped really loud, but it meant that the oven was preheated and we were ready to bake them. We didn’t know what to do in the mean time, so we looked through our frig, and saw chocolate chip cookie dough. Of course were going to eat it! After we keep shoving it down our throats it was all gone, and the oven went off again. They were done! After that I got big glass a milk, and we set it all up. Then off we went to go to bed.

Pay Attention to Certain Things

 Authors note- The real reason why I wrote was because I felt bad for Coraline, and I hope that her parents will change.


Almost every single person has gotten bored or they feel like they have no one paying attention to them. Most children feel this way rather then adults, but almost in every single case the adults are the ones that are doing it. This is a great example in the book Coraline. Every ones parent should pay attention to their kids.
   
Parents should pay attention to their kids, because you wouldn’t just want your kid to do dumb things, and have them regret it. It would just be easier if they were to pay attention to them so they would do anything bad. Even though in the book Coraline probably wouldn't do anything bad but still she could because her parents would not know or care. Although if they did not want to have children they just should not of had children if they did not want to pay attention to them.
    
The only good thing about not having your parents on your back would be that you would be able to do whatever you want but in a lot of cases that isn’t good because then the kids might get out of control. They could be bad student in school and they would never be able to move on in life. It would just make troubles for the people around them. When you see someone that is independent and they do not rely on their parents, it is probably because they don’t have their parents back up on many things.In ways this was like Coraline because she would just walk around and play games by herself.  

Which shows another point which would be that for school if you had to go on a field trip and you wanted to go on it, you would need a permission slip. Which on the permission slip you would need to have a parent sign it. Even if it was something that was related to school such as a reading log and if your parents have to check and sign it they wouldn’t want to. There are many other occasion, that this could happen. Although they didn't really talk about school that much but it could have happened, but if she were to ask they would do it and then tell her to leave right after.
   
Some parents are nice, but they don't see that they don't enjoy time with their children.Every kid likes their parents, and just need to spend time with them. Even a simple dinner together, just sometime that they can spend alone with, but with maybe both of them if you have two parents together. No matter what you do, just make sure you are with your family, and are talking with each other.
